About the Women’s Center Junior Board

It all started when…

Annalise Rich (pictured 4th from front, rt. side), an active member of National Charity League had been volunteering at The Women’s Center for several years. Seeing first hand the impact one life can make in another woman’s life inspired Annalise to dream bigger. She understood the impact collaboration can have in setting and achieving goals.

In 2023 Annalise presented an innovative ideal to Amy Smith, Executive Director proposing the creation of a Junior Board to reach high schools for greater impact. These seven remarkable young women from local area high schools are spearheading campaigns to raise awareness, funds, and inspire action that goes beyond their peers, to reach into their communities. They believe life is bigger than self, and that touching a life is the greatest human reward.

These amazing young women are currently working on a campaign to provide collapsible tables for TWC’s dining area.

We're thrilled and honored to work with these dynamic individuals as they grow in knowledge, compassion, and perseverance to end homelessness in Wake County.

Join us in making a meaningful impact!
